The moderate voter is a sensible, rational, problem solver that is willing to compromise to get things done. They reject extremists policies that are not in line with the general population in most cases. They represent the majority of the US population. The following policies tend to represent the desires of the typical moderate voter.
| Rank | Issue | Solution |
National Defense | Support the UN/NATO and International law. Modernize the military. Promote peace in Ukraine and the Middle east. Fight Cyber terrorism and Chinese/Russian/BRIC expansion.
Crime | Fairly enforce the law regardless of wealth or power. Regulate AI/5G. Reduce Cyber-crimes (spying/intrusion, IP theft). Support police but prosecute abuse when needed. Restrict assault weapons.
National Debt | Adjust taxes and spending to reduce deficit (raise top rate back to 40%, add billionaire tax, raise private equity rate). Strengthen middle-class. Promote balanced budgets.
Economy | Promote US manufacturing, small business. Reduce the cost of products and services.
Energy | Support clean energy, reduce fossil fuels. Promote mass transportation and high speed rail between high population centers. Require clean energy for AI and Crypto.
Trade | International Free trade is best for America, but correct unfair practices
Immigration | Enforce immigration laws, but Wall, anti-immigrant rhetoric and overly harsh deportation is not appropriate
Governance | Reduce corruption. Individual campaign finance limits. Term limits.
Healthcare | Reduce cost by simplifying and standardizing the process, eHealth, Telehealth, and replace ACA w/standardized group plan for self-employed workers and small business.
Education | Modernize education but do not support vouchers or eliminate grants/low interest loans, since it will weaken public education
Abortion | reduce abortion in 2/3 trimester through education, contraception and legislative reductions
Media | Bring back equal time rules, truth in advertising, fairness doctrine
