Most of us are Anti-fascist, since fascist like the Nazi’s were responsible for many atrocities during WWII, but Antifa appears to be a broad collection of left wing liberals using protests, harassment, digital activism, doxing, violence and vandalism to target suspected fascists or right wing activists.

I also wanted to understand how fascists operate, so I looked up the specific policies of fascism and found the following;

Fascists

1. Authoritarian leaders or Supreme rulers with a high degree of central authority
2. Support Mass surveillance and property theft
3. Support violence to achieve political objectives
4. Believe that Government should control business and extort profits for their supporters
5. Support ultra-nationalism that is intolerant of foreigners or minorities
6. Promotes corruption for the benefit of political insiders
7. Often have a Darwinist or Supremacist view of society

Interestingly enough, both fascists and anti-fascists have many of the same traits. This may not be obvious to many people, but I have been spied on, had intellectual property stolen and been harassed by the last 2 administrations from both parties, even though I am a moderate centrist that has not supported either party for the last two decades (even less so in this decade). I believe new tech has enabled both sides to spy on, rip off and harass the general public and abuse it for political purposes, but since much of the wealth and tech is concentrated in the top 1%, they are controlling Big Tech and the Government, and contribute to both parties to ensure they are getting preferential treatment.

An example of this is the unregulated development of Artificial Intelligence and the mass surveillance and intellectual property theft that has been happening for the past few years under both administrations. XAI, OpenAI, Google, Meta, Anthropic and others have unrestricted use of AI for their own advantage and generate deep fakes and false advertising (which is illegal) but it continues without consequences. Theodore Roosevelt said that Plutocracy (Government by the wealthy) is the lowest form of Government and he was correct.

Fascism is a serious problem, but the socialists are also using mass surveillance, corruption, media manipulation and political violence to control the General Public and the Government.

The people must regularly remind them to adhere to the law and respect our civil rights to restore democracy and avoid vigilantism.
