FISA was enacted in 1978 to establish guidelines for domestic surveillance in response to privacy violations during the Nixon administration but it has resulted in the opposite, widespread mass surveillance, privacy violations and political attacks.
in 2001, The Bush administration approved of the Patriot Act which authorized the NSA to conduct broad surveillance of phones, emails, texts, etc due to the bombing of the World Trade Center, but it is now mostly used for political spying, manipulation and IP theft.
In 2008, Congress approved sec 702 which allowed the President to conduct warrant less surveillance of US citizens by executive order. Although this is unconstitutional, there have been few challenges in the Supreme Court because it allows each administration the power to spy on anyone at anytime, so it has been extended by the party in power (and criticized by the party out of power) for political advantage. This must end.
In 2020, I wrote a research paper on “Inhabiting the Solar System” which showed how we can establish an insitu base on the Moon with mining operations that would pay for itself and it included a new hybrid jet/rocket engine which has significantly improve aerospace and yet I never received credit or compensation from work because it was stolen by the Government and Big Tech and given to political insiders. I also wrote a paper “Insights on Gravity” which discussed the Electromagnetic effects on Gravity which has had a significant impact on physics, aerospace, energy, etc and again, it was taken and used without credit or compensation, although many facets of this paper have been published and used by others.
NASA or Government representatives have not responded to my requests to meet with them to review this and pursue development despite being aware of everything I was doing at the time. This puts all Engineers and Scientists at a significant disadvantage if our work is stolen and given to political insiders and it is a violation of our constitutional rights under the 4th and 5th amendments.
Big tech enabled this state sponsored invasion of privacy because they profit massively from providing the tech tools and infrastructure for this mass surveillance system, so they are generally behind squashing any efforts by the Government to regulate AI. They also participate in IP theft on a massive scale for their own profit, they are actively trying to end copyright protections and are censuring me on social media to prevent me from complaining.
Benjamin Franklin famously said that “He who gives up a little freedom for security deserves neither”. This still holds true today since the Government and Big Tech are abusing our civil rights for political advantage, so the general public and the media must demand that Congress end or modify FISA, regulate AI/Mind Reading and guarantee our civil rights since it is at the core of eroding our Democracy.
